This summer I've gain a lot of experience of photography. I had the chance to shadow a photographer on one of her shoots and i learned so much from her. I want to follow in her
footsteps and create my own photography business. I can't rush things but I'm deciding to
start a small charge for a shoot. It's not a big amount. It's just to purchase new things for my
camera. I soon hope to gain more experience and take my photography to places i only dreamed of. If you're interested in my photography and want to book a shoot, email me at robbylozano11@yahoo.com.
I will discuss prices and what the prices include.
Hope you've enjoyed my photography so far. Hope to have much more to come!
Thanks to everybody who has helped me along the way.
And a special thanks to Kate. She's helped me out from day one. It's helped out so much.
Thank you so much!!!
Hope to hear from you,
Robby!

Robby,
It's always great to hear about fellow photographers "taking a step up" and actually trying to pursue in my opinion the most devotional career out there. Lately, I too have taken it upon myself to gather as much experience and knowledge about photography (ALL photography), so I may eventually work for AP or the Express. Just don't forget to keep me informed while you are on your way to the top, I might be able to help you get a job/internship with my employer. And don't be afraid to really get out there and show people what your made of!
TC
A couple quotes that have helped my progression:
On trying new things:
Fight the feeling of "Oh, I've done that before and it didn't work." "It might work today because you are better at it. If you've got the time, sometimes it is better to push yourself past what experience already tells you."
Laura Rauch, AP
On being prepared:
"Photography is 90% anticipation and 10% pushing the button at the right time"
Tom Hardin
Have you checked out any good text books on photography? Lately, what I've been doing to get better is read about photography and look at other's work, implementing new techniques or one's I haven't fully understood. Here are some excellent books to check out, maybe you've read some of them?
#1. "The Photographer's Eye" by Michael Freeman
#2. Monte Zucker's "Portrait Photography Handbook"
#3. "Digital Photography for Children's and Family Portraiture" by Kathleen Hawkins
